Ability Fest 2026

This year, Ability Fest turned up the dial with a fresh format, dedicated to celebrating electronic music and the community that makes it so powerful. From start to finish, it was a high energy reminder that live music should be experienced by everyone, without barriers.

To our patrons, partners, artists, crew and volunteers, thank you for showing up and showing what true access and inclusion looks like in live music events. Together, we created a space where people of all abilities could connect, move, and feel completely part of something special.

Because of you, we raised over $400,000 to support young people with disability through the Dylan Alcott Foundation, helping create more opportunities to live the lives they dream and deserve.

Big love to every single legend who came along and made it what it was. Can't wait to do it all again soon. 🧡

Inside a warehouse, a large crowd dances and raised their hands toward the stage where a DJ, PNAU is playing and dancing. Orange spotlights shine from the roof with orange visuals on the main screen behind the DJ and crowd on platform.

Ability Fest History

Ability Fest is proudly Australia's first inclusive and accessible music festival, having completed 6 editions in Melbourne and expanding to Brisbane in 2024. It all began from Dylan’s love of music festivals and the power they have to allow him to feel accepted whilst having an incredible time.

This day is truly like no other on the music calendar, boasting a range of accessible features and enabling individuals of all abilities to come together in a true celebration of music and togetherness.
