Get Skilled Access

What would your organisation achieve if it welcomed every ability? Allow everyone to be at their best, and there’s a butterfly effect. Boosted creativity and diversity of thought, for example. Organisations focused on disability engagement grow their sales 2.9x faster and profits 4.1x faster than the competition too (Accenture, 2020).

As our founder Dylan Alcott knows, life isn’t always accessible and inclusive for a person with disability. As a three-time Paralympic gold medallist and multiple tennis grand slam champion, he also knows how much is possible given the opportunity.

Get Skilled Access’s purpose is to create a new generation of disability inclusion that is equitable for all.

The Field

The Field is here to revolutionise employment.

We exist to knock down employment barriers, and connect people with disability who want to work with organisations that want to hire more inclusively.

At the Field, we are disruptors by nature, and nothing is done for people with disability, without people with disability. At the forefront of who we are at the Field, and in everything we do, we are designed, led and driven by people with disability.

Sport 4 All

Sport4All is a collaboration between the Australian Government, Sports Australia and Get Skilled Access. Sport4All’s purpose is to provide people with disability the opportunity to participate in club and school sports when, where and how they choose.

Get Skilled Access was founded by Paralympic Gold Medallist and Grand Slam champion Dylan Alcott. Get Skilled Access is a Disability-Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE), meaning we are managed and run by people with disability and people with lived experience of disability.

We know how big the Sport4All vision is, and with your help, we can work together to make it a reality.

Shift 20 Initiative

Nearly 20% of Australians have a visible or non-visible disability*, yet only 1% of ads include them**. Shift 20 Initiative is a coalition of the nation’s top brands working towards increased representation, inclusion and accessibility in marketing and communications. We believe that together, our industry can help shift the perception of what disability is and what it can be – creating a more inclusive Australia, for everyone. The following framework of 4 core principles has been developed to guide marketers, industry professionals and business leaders in applying best practice within their own organisations, helping us to lead the change.
